Bed And Breakfast In Niagara On The Lake
honeymoon help.. please?
My fiancee and I are getting married in Dec, we live in Toronto.. we are having a very small wedding but we would like a nice (fairly inexpensive) honeymoon.. were not sure where to go, we like older victorian style places.. not sure if we should stay in Canada or go into the U.S. we have been to niagara on the lake, and Quebec city… and we love it, but we want something a little different, we dont know if we should should stay at a bed and breakfast or an inn.. any help would be great.. links to any nice places.. preferably rooms with a fireplace.. an ensuite…
Go to Google Images and search “Oregon Coast”
Everytime I see someone asking for inexpensive honeymoon advice, I always suggest Oregon. You can’t go wrong.. Even in December.
Its literally 3 worlds wrapped up in 1 big state. To the east, you have beautiful rockey coasts that makes it feel as tho you stepped out of the modern world and into ancient greece. Have you ever ran your hand across a thousand year old petrified shipwreck? Go down to Neskowin (spelling?) beach and do just that! Talk a stroll thru a vast petrified forest (on the beach!) at low tides. Touch a stump and literally go back in time millions of years to when that coast was actually a thriving forest. Or just wait till sunset and walk along the coast until you find a little “rock tunnel” crawl inside and snuggle up to your new hubby and watch the waves crash against the beach. Its really the most beautiful place I’ve ever been.
Drive about an hour west and visit the Oregon Desert. Rent a dune buggy and go 4 wheeling over the dunes. Go parasailing, or just enjoy the evening desert sunset.
Drive a little more north, and visit the national park. Enjoy watching the birds fly over the mountain ranges, go hiking.
Theres really TONS to do. Plus, Oregon is “home of the weird” so you’ll NEVER get bored.
Thats my suggestion anyway
